Igor Dogocki

Brushing, rinsing the mouth, and cleaning the tongue are described as daily practices needed for healthy teeth and gums.

„Daily oral hygiene practices, which we understand to include brushing and rinsing (for example, with a water flosser) and cleaning the tongue, are essential for keeping teeth and gums healthy. Sometimes we may need extra help. It is worth looking at substances that help maintain the health of dental tissues “from within.””Codzienne zabiegi higieny jamy ustnej, które rozumiemy jako szczotkowanie i płukanie (np. irygatorem), czyszczenie języka, są niezbędne do utrzymania zdrowych zębów i dziąseł. Czasami możemy potrzebować dodatkowej pomocy. Warto przyjrzeć się substancjom, które sprzyjają utrzymaniu zdrowia tkanek zębów „od środka”.
Igor Dogocki

Move the oil between your teeth for about 20 minutes without gargling, then spit it out.

„To do this, simply put oil in your mouth and “draw” it between your teeth for about 20 minutes. Swish it around your teeth and gums to draw out the bacteria between them. Do this much like you would use a mouthwash, except that you should not try to gargle.”Aby to zrobić, wystarczy wziąć olej do ust i „wciągać” go między zębami przez około 20 minut.
Igor Dogocki

Igor Dogocki lists sesame, sunflower, and coconut oils and recommends oil pulling for 10 minutes in the morning.

„Waterpick company) Rinse your mouth with sesame, sunflower, or coconut oil every morning for 10 min Get a diagnostic assessment to find out what condition your teeth are in and whether you have dead teeth or root canal-treated teeth in your mouth: www.diagnovita.pl Pay attention to whether you breathe properly through your nose!”Firmy Waterpick) Płucz codziennie rano przez 10 min usta olejem sezamowym, słonecznikowym lub kokosowym Przejdź diagnostykę i dowiedz się w jakim stanie masz zęby i czy masz w buzi zęby martwe i leczone kanałowo : www.diagnovita.pl Zwróć uwagę czy prawidłowo oddychasz przez nos!

Igor Dogocki describes oil pulling as a way to mechanically clean the mouth and reduce the microorganisms that cause bad breath.

„Oil pulling is as effective as mouthwash at relieving bad breath and reducing the microorganisms that may cause it. Sucking on oil benefits the mouth, partly through mechanical cleaning.”Wyciąganie oleju jest tak samo skuteczne, jak płyn do płukania jamy ustnej w łagodzeniu nieświeżego oddechu i ograniczaniu mikroorganizmów, które mogą go wywoływać.Ssanie oleju korzystnie wpływa na jamę ustną, częściowo poprzez mechaniczne czyszczenie.
Henryk Różański

After brushing, Henryk Różański recommends gently brushing the tongue with a soft toothbrush to remove its coating.

„It is best to use a soft toothbrush for this purpose. After brushing your teeth, clean your tongue: put a little toothpaste and 1–2 drops of tea tree, wintergreen, lemongrass, citronella, or guaiac tincture on a soft toothbrush. Lemon balm oil also works well.”Najlepiej używać do tego celu miękkiej szczoteczki. Po umyciu zębów przystępujemy do mycia języka: na miękką szczoteczkę nanieść nieco pasty i 1-2 krople olejku herbacianego, gaulteriowego, lemongrasowego, cytronelowego lub nalewki gwajakowej. Sprawdza się również olejek melisowy.
Henryk Różański

Henryk Różański recommends rinsing the mouth with a sage infusion or diluted sage tincture and brushing your teeth after meals.

„At the same time, maintain oral hygiene (brush your teeth after every meal and rinse your mouth with a sage infusion or decoction, or with diluted sage tincture: 1 tablespoon of the preparation + 200 ml of water). The lesions can be painted with the following preparation: Rp. Celandine tincture 10 ml Sage tincture 10 ml Mix.”Jednocześnie należy dbać o higienę jamy ustnej (myć zęby po każdym posiłku, płukać jamę ustną naparem lub odwarem z szałwi albo też rozcieńczoną nalewką z szałwi: 1 łyżka preparatu + 200 ml wody). Wykwity można pędzlować następującym preparatem: Rp. Nalewka glistnikowa 10 ml Nalewka z szałwi 10 ml Wymieszać.
Igor Dogocki

Igor Dogocki lists herbal rinses, including those made with oak bark, myrrh, sage, calendula, and chamomile.

„Triclosan—a bacteriostatic and bactericidal agent used in mouthwashes and toothpastes Preservatives—marked with symbols from E 200 to E 299; after entering the gut, they inhibit the growth of bacteria, especially beneficial bacteria that break down food and help the body absorb it A healthy alternative to commercial mouthwashes is herbal rinses, for example in the form of infusions or decoctions (e.g., powdered white oak bark—helps prevent bleeding and infection; powdered myrrh gum resin—treats gum infections; common sage is effective against various types of oral infections and works well for canker sores, oral thrush, and inflammation of the gums and periodontium; English oak shows activity against staphylococci, sometimes even stronger than that of antibiotics.”Triklosan – środek bakteriostatyczny i bakteriobójczy używany płukankach i pastach do zębów Konserwanty – oznaczone symbolami od E 200 do E 299, po przedostaniu się do jelita hamują wzrost bakterii, w szczególności tych korzystnych – rozkładających i wspomagających przyswajanie pokarmu Zdrowym zamiennikiem płukanek komercyjnych są płukanki ziołowe np. w postaci naparów czy odwarów (np. sproszkowana kora z dębu białego – przeciwdziała krwawieniu i infekcji; sproszkowana gumożywica z mirry – leczy infekcje dziąseł, Szałwia lekarska skuteczna w różnego rodzaju zakażeniach w jamie ustnej i świetnie sprawdzająca się przy aftach, pleśniawkach, jak i stanach zapalnych dziąseł i przyzębia; Dąb szypułkowy przejawia aktywność przeciw gronkowcom, niekiedy nawet silniejsza niż w przypadku zastosowania antybiotyków.
Henryk Różański

Henryk Różański gives a recipe for a snowberry infusion to rinse the mouth and recommends rinsing with it several times a day.

„Infusion for gargling, washing, irrigation, compresses, and sitz baths: pour 200 ml of boiling water over 2 tablespoons of chopped plant material, leave for 30 minutes, then strain. Rinse the mouth, throat, infected genital organs, and infected ears with the infusion 4–6 times a day.”Napar do pukania, przemywania, irygacji, okładów nasiadówek: 2 łyżki rozdrobnionego surowca zalać 200 ml wrzącej wody, odstawić na 30 minut, przecedzić. Jamę ustną, gardło, zakażone narządy płciowe, zainfekowane uszy płukać naparem 4-6 razy dziennie.
Igor Dogocki

Igor Dogocki also points to a water flosser as a way to reduce bacteria in the mouth.

„To minimize the number of harmful bacteria in your mouth and improve the condition of your gums and teeth, consider following these recommendations: Ask your dentist or take a test at BIO CLINIC to check for dangerous bacteria in your mouth and measure their levels. If harmful pathogens are found in your mouth, make an appointment with your dentist or undergo an advanced bacteria-reduction and oral-cleaning protocol at BIO CLINIC. Use a water flosser twice a day (e.g., from the Waterpick company). Rinse your mouth with sesame, sunflower, or coconut oil every morning for 10 min. Get a diagnostic assessment to find out what condition your teeth are in and whether you have dead teeth or root canal-treated teeth in your mouth: www.diagnovita.pl Pay attention to whether you breathe properly through your nose!”W celu zminimalizowania ilości patogennych bakterii w swojej jamie ustnej oraz poprawienia stanu dziąseł i zębów rozważ wprowadzenie poniższych zaleceń Zapytaj swojego dentystę lub wykonaj w BIO CLINIC test na obecność i poziom niebezpiecznych bakterii w jamie ustnej Jeśli okaże się, iż w Twojej jamie ustnej występują groźne patogeny, umów się ze swoim dentystą lub w BIO CLINIC przejdź zaawansowany protokół redukcji bakterii i oczyszczania jamy ustnej Używaj 2 x dziennie Irygatora (np.

Igor Dogocki describes a liquid with plant extracts for rinsing after dilution or for brushing teeth and gums after brushing.

„When diluted with water, it makes an excellent mouth rinse. It can also be used undiluted to brush your teeth and gums after brushing, as it works very well. It removes all inflammation, inhibits the growth of microorganisms, promotes the healing of erosions, reduces bleeding and discharge from the gums, and eliminates bad breath.”Po rozcieńczeniu z wodą świetna płukanka. Można nim również (nierozcieńczonym) szczotkować zęby i dziąsła po umyciu, działa bowiem doskonale. Usuwa wszelkie stany zapalne, hamuje rozwój drobnoustrojów, wzmaga gojenie nadżerek, hamuje krwawienia i wysięki z dziąseł, usuwa przykry zapach.
Igor Dogocki

Igor Dogocki cites a study in which propolis was used alongside standard treatment for periodontal disease.

„In addition, a 95% reduction in gum inflammation was recorded in the areas where the gum pockets were irrigated with a 10% propolis solution. The study authors recommend using propolis to treat periodontal disease alongside standard treatment.”Dodatkowo w miejscach, w których dokonano irygacji kieszonek dziąsłowych 10-proc. roztworem propolisu, odnotowano 95-proc. spadek stanu zapalnego dziąseł. Autorzy badania polecają zastosowanie propolisu w leczeniu chorób przyzębia wraz ze standardowym leczeniem.
Igor Dogocki

Igor Dogocki links gum problems, among other things, to poor hygiene and describes how tartar irritates tissue.

„Part of this process is the buildup of so-called tartar, which contains toxic substances that irritate tissue and initiate inflammation. At this point, we should quote Dr. Weston Price: “In light of the knowledge currently available to us, pyorrhea is the result of nutritional problems.””Część tego procesu stanowi odkładanie się tak zwanego kamienia nazębnego zawierającego substancje toksyczne wywołujące podrażnienie tkanki i inicjujące jej zapalenie. W tym momencie należy przytoczyć słowa dr Westona Price „W świetle dostępnej nam obecnie wiedzy, ropotok jest efektem problemów żywieniowych”.

For gingivitis, oral hygiene instruction helps, and combining it with professional plaque removal provides an additional benefit.

Aim of the study: To evaluate the efficacy of professional mechanical plaque removal (PMPR) for treating naturally occurring dental biofilm-induced gingivitis (i) compared to no treatment or oral hygiene instructions (OHI) (FQ1), (ii) when performed through different modalities (FQ2) or (iii) when combined with professionally administered local adjuncts (FQ3).

Results: Heterogeneous evidence shows with low certainty that PMPR has no efficacy in patients continuing with ineffective self-performed oral hygiene regimens but enhances OHI outcomes (FQ1; three RCTs, one CT). Split-mouth RCTs consistently indicated with very low certainty that ultrasonic scaling (US) plus air polishing is as effective but less time consuming than US plus polishing with rubber cup and prophylaxis paste. Furthermore, diode laser shows no adjunctive benefit (FQ2; five RCTs). Although some professionally administered local adjuncts have shown positive outcomes in patients receiving PMPR, their broader clinical application is limited due to unresolved clinical issues and uncertain cost effectiveness (FQ3; two RCTs). OHI should be the first-line treatment for dental biofilm-induced gingivitis. Combination of PMPR and OHI provides an adjunctive benefit over OHI alone. Air polishing may be combined with US to reduce the time for PMPR administration.

In a 24-month study, a kit comprising an electric toothbrush, floss, and mouthwash was associated with less bleeding and better gum outcomes than usual care.

Aim of the study: Periodontal disease continues to be prevalent globally, but little clinical research has been undertaken to evaluate the long-term benefits of a daily oral hygiene regimen on progression of gingivitis/early periodontitis. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of an oral hygiene regimen (OHR) on the periodontal health of adults in good general health with established gingivitis and early periodontitis over 24 months.

Results: A total of 107 individuals were enrolled; 87 completed the study. Mean GBI-BS, Modified Gingival Index, and Probing Pocket Depth (PPD) scores were significantly lower at each visit for the OHR versus usual care group by 28% to 39%, 12% to 18%, and 6% to 13%, respectively (p≤ 0.0009). The magnitude of reduction in median number of ≥2 mm PPD loss events for OHR versus the usual care group at 24 months was 74%. Long-term use of the OHR produced significant periodontal health improvements versus the usual care products.

Adding an essential-oil mouthwash to brushing, and in one regimen also to flossing, reduced plaque, inflammation, and gum bleeding more than brushing alone.

Aim of the study: To investigate the effects of combinations of mechanical (brushing and flossing) and chemotherapeutic regimens which included essential oils (EO) non-alcohol and alcohol-containing mouthrinses compared to brushing only in the prevention and reduction of plaque, gingivitis, and gingival bleeding.

Results: After 12 weeks, both BA and BZ and the BFZ group were superior in reducing interproximal plaque (30.8%, 18.2%, 16.0%, respectively), gingivitis (39.0%, 36.9%, 36.1%, respectively), and bleeding (67.8%, 73.6%, 79.8%, respectively) compared to B. The BF group did not provide significant reductions in interproximal plaque but did reduce interproximal gingivitis (5.1%, p = 0.041) at Week 4 and bleeding at Weeks 4 and 12 (34.6%, 31.4%, p < 0.001 respectively) compared to B. The BFZ group did not significantly reduce interproximal plaque, gingivitis or bleeding compared to BZ. This study demonstrated that the addition of EO non-alcohol containing mouthrinse to the manual toothbrushing and flossing regimen further reduces plaque, gingivitis and bleeding showing that addition of EO mouthrinses (alcohol or non-alcohol containing) to the oral hygiene regimen provides sustained reductions in plaque to help maintain gingival health after a dental prophylaxis.

Oral health education in schools reduced plaque levels, although no improvement in gingivitis was demonstrated.

Aim of the study: The objective of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of oral health educational actions in the school context in improving oral hygiene and dental caries in schoolchildren through systematic review and meta-analysis.

Results: A total of 4417 references were found, from which 93 full texts were evaluated and 12 included in this meta-analysis. Five studies showed a reduction in plaque levels, and two studies with gingivitis as the outcome found no effect. There was not enough evidence on the effectiveness of the interventions in reducing dental caries. Traditional oral health educational actions were effective in reducing plaque, but not gingivitis. There is no long-term evidence in respect of the effectiveness of these interventions in preventing plaque accumulation, gingivitis and dental caries in the school environment.

The review found that more detailed oral hygiene instructions slightly reduced gum bleeding.

Aim of the study: Effective self-performed oral hygiene is fundamental to the prevention and control of dental biofilm-induced gingivitis. While reinforcement strategies and behavioural interventions (including technologies/digital adjuncts) may improve adherence, advances in oral hygiene devices may enhance the mechanical efficacy of plaque removal.

Results: Thirty-seven randomised controlled trials (RCTs) were included (PICOS 1: n = 7, PICOS 2: n = 9, PICOS 3: n = 21). Enhanced oral hygiene instruction produced a statistically significant but modest reduction in gingival bleeding compared with standard instruction. Behavioural/motivational/technological interventions yielded small but statistically significant and consistent benefits, with low-to-moderate heterogeneity. In contrast, powered toothbrushes demonstrated substantially greater reductions in gingival bleeding and plaque compared with manual brushing. Network meta-analysis ranked oscillating-rotating and high-frequency sonic powered toothbrushes as the most effective interventions, with large effect sizes and consistent findings across studies. Reinforced instruction and behavioural interventions produce meaningful improvements in gingival inflammation. Powered toothbrushes consistently provide improvements in gingival health over manual toothbrushes.

The review found that smart toothbrushes and digital support may improve plaque removal and short-term gum health.

Aim of the study: Effective toothbrushing is central to plaque control and periodontal health, yet brushing technique and adherence are often inadequate. Smart toothbrushes and digitally assisted oral hygiene systems record brushing behaviour and return feedback to patients and, in some models, to clinicians.

Results: Two randomised trials in patients with periodontitis reported additional short-term improvements in periodontal parameters when AI-assisted monitoring was added to periodontal care. However, many commercial devices use fixed thresholds rather than adaptive machine learning, and most trials cannot separate the effects of powered brushing, feedback, app support, and AI. Current evidence suggests that smart toothbrushes and digitally assisted oral hygiene systems may improve plaque control, brushing behaviour, adherence, and short-term gingival outcomes. The incremental benefit specifically attributable to AI-based functions and their impact on long-term periodontal outcomes remain to be established.

In children and adolescents with ASD, a triple-headed toothbrush reduced plaque more effectively than a regular toothbrush and improved gum health.

Aim of the study: Children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are prone to poor oral hygiene due to motor and sensory challenges. This trial evaluated whether a triple-headed toothbrush (THT) improves gingival health and plaque control more effectively than a conventional toothbrush (CT).

Results: At 3 months, THT use produced significantly greater reductions in plaque (Hodges-Lehmann estimator, -0.50; 95% CI, -0.63 to -0.31; P < .001; r = 0.60) and gingival (Hodges-Lehmann estimator, -0.25; 95% CI, -0.44 to -0.13; P < .001; r = 0.39) scores than CT, with pronounced improvements on the lingual surface. Both groups showed significant within-group reductions. THT acceptability improved significantly over the study period. A THT produced superior plaque and gingival improvements compared with a CT in children and adolescents with ASD, with pronounced lingual surface benefits and increasing acceptability over time.
