After taking antibiotics for a long time, Hubert Czerniak recommends strengthening the gut flora and intestinal barrier.
„Usually, you feel better after taking an antibiotic, but only for a short time, because every antibiotic kills bacteria—but only those in the blood. Those that have settled inside cells remain unharmed.

Fermented foods, kefir, buttermilk, soured milk, and plain yogurt provide live bacterial cultures or beneficial bacteria.
„Use fermented dairy products—kefir, buttermilk, soured milk, and plain yogurt without added sugar. They are good for our bodies and contain easily digestible protein and beneficial bacteria. Make homemade beet kvass or apple cider vinegar.”Używajmy produktów fermentacji mlekowej — kefir, maślankę, kwaśne mleko, jogurty naturalne bez dodatków cukru.
A variety of sources of bacteria include soured milk, real yogurt, and fermented foods. Taking just a few strains for a long time may disrupt the flora.
„Taking only a few strains for a long time can also disrupt the bacterial flora. For this reason, we should make sure to eat foods containing a variety of strains. These include soured milk, real yogurt, and fermented foods. Eating them regularly supports the growth of healthy bacterial flora.”Długotrwałe przyjmowanie tylko kilku szczepów także może zaburzać florę bakteryjną. Z tego powodu powinniśmy zadbać o pożywienie zawierające różnorodne szczepy. Należą do nich kwaśne mleko, prawdziwe jogurty i kiszonki. Ich regularne spożywanie sprzyja rozwojowi zdrowej flory bakteryjnej.
Henryk Różański
For probiotics to work effectively, Henryk Różański recommends taking them at the same time as prebiotics.
„Plant-based prebiotics allow beneficial bacteria, introduced as probiotics (cultures of selected bacteria), to colonize the digestive tract. For probiotics to be effective, prebiotics must also be introduced into the digestive system at the same time. These include ingredients rich in polygalacturonans, inulin, and arabinogalactans. Examples of ingredients available on the market include:”Prebiotyki roślinne umożliwiają zasiedlenie przewodu pokarmowego pożytecznymi bakteriami, wprowadzanymi w formie probiotyków (kultur wyselekcjonowanych bakterii). Aby probiotyki były efektywne, muszą być równocześnie wprowadzone do układu pokarmowego prebiotyki. Należą tutaj surowce zasobne w poligalakturoniany, inulinę i arabinogalaktany. Spośród dostępnych na rynku surowców można wymienić:

Hubert Czerniak identifies freeze-dried colostrum, as well as juice from fermented cabbage and pickled cucumbers, as support for the gut flora.
„If we have a leaky gut, we should promote the growth of bacterial flora by taking colostrum—freeze-dried, not dried—because we need to take less of it this way and the effect is much better. Another substance that supports the gut flora is juice from fermented cabbage and pickled cucumbers.”W przypadku, gdy mamy nieszczelne jelita, powinniśmy rozwijać fl orę bakteryjną, czyli zażywać colostrum i to liofi lizowane, a nie suszone, ponieważ wtedy mniej zażywamy, a efekt jest o wiele lepszy.

Hubert Czerniak lists fermented foods, fermented-food brine, fermented dairy products, beet kvass, and apple cider vinegar.
„We can find them in fermented foods: cabbage, cucumbers, and red beets. It is also worth drinking the brine from fermented cabbage and cucumbers. Use fermented dairy products—kefir, buttermilk, soured milk, and plain yogurt without added sugar. They are good for our bodies and contain easily digestible protein and beneficial bacteria.”Znajdziemy je w kiszonkach: kapuście, ogórkach, burakach czerwonych.

Hubert Czerniak recommends probiotics, prebiotics, fermented foods, and a diet rich in vegetables.
„Hippocrates himself said that “all diseases begin in the gut.” It is worth strengthening the natural gut flora by using probiotics and prebiotics. We should also remember fermented foods and a diet rich in vegetables.”Już sam Hipokrates stwierdził, że „wszystkie choroby zaczynają się w jelitach”. Warto wzmocnić naturalną florę jelitową, stosując probiotyki i prebiotyki.

Sources of fiber include oats, beans, apples, carrots, nuts, cauliflower, bran, and whole-grain products.
„The first type can be found in oats, all kinds of beans, apples, peas, carrots, and citrus fruits; the second includes nuts, cauliflower, bran, and whole-grain products. One example is Asians, who eat a lot of fiber combined with turmeric, have bowel movements 2–3 times a day, and do not have problems with intestinal inflammation or cancer.”Ten pierwszy znajdziemy w owsie, wszelkiego rodzaju fasolkach, jabłkach, groszku, marchewkach i cytrusach; drugi natomiast to orzechy, kalafior, otręby, produkty pełnoziarniste.

Glycine supports the rebuilding of the intestinal lining. Its natural sources include bone broth and jellies made from chicken feet.
„Glycine—amino acid that makes up 30% of collagen—supports the rebuilding of the intestinal lining and has an anti-inflammatory effect. Glycine is found in tendons, skin, and cartilage. Its natural sources include bone broth and jellies made from so-called chicken feet.”Glicyna – aminokwas, z którego w 30% zbudowany jest kolagen – wspomaga odbudowę nabłonka jelitowego i działa przeciwzapalnie.

Hubert Czerniak says that sodium butyrate may reduce intestinal inflammation and help seal the gut.
„Butyrate helps seal the gut. According to research by Israeli scientists, polysorbate 80, which is found in “certain medical procedures,” damages the microbiome—specifically, it damages Escherichia coli, a bacterium that humans cannot live without.”Maślan wpływa bowiem na uszczelnienie jelit.

In a study following antibiotic treatment, an autologous fecal microbiota transplant restored the gut microbiome to nearly normal within a few days, while probiotics delayed its recovery.
Aim of the study: Probiotics are widely prescribed to prevent antibiotic-associated dysbiosis and related adverse effects. However, their impact on the post-antibiotic recovery of the gut mucosal host–microbiome niche remains unclear.
Results: Unlike in homeostasis, antibiotic disruption increased probiotic colonization in the human mucosa but only slightly improved colonization in mice. Compared with spontaneous recovery after antibiotics, probiotics led to a markedly delayed and persistently incomplete restoration of the native stool and mucosal microbiome, as well as the host transcriptome's return toward a homeostatic state. In contrast, aFMT led to rapid and nearly complete recovery within days of administration. In vitro, soluble factors secreted by Lactobacillus contributed to the microbiome inhibition caused by probiotics. Overall, potential benefits of probiotics after antibiotic treatment may be offset by impaired recovery of the gut mucosa. This highlights the need to develop aFMT or personalized probiotic approaches that protect the mucosa without compromising microbiome recolonization in a host whose microbiome has been disrupted by antibiotics.

A review indicates that probiotics may help restore the balance of the microbiota and prevent its disruption during antibiotic treatment for Helicobacter pylori.
Aim of the study: Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a well-known pathogen that infects approximately half of the world's population.
Results: pylori. Probiotics may have a beneficial effect on H. pylori eradication. However, the strain, dosage, duration, and safety of probiotic supplementation need further study before clinical application.

„As a very general consideration, a probiotic with high concentrations of various strains of Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria is usually a good one to try, and it is probably best if it includes a prebiotic blend that helps the new microbes “feed” and take hold as they recolonize the gut. [57] Tongue Hygiene Probably the most important factor to address in normalizing a gut with established CPC is to eliminate as much as possible the daily, “24/7” seeding of new pathogens into the gut.”As a very general consideration, a probiotic that has high concentrations of various strains of Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria is usually a good one to try, and it is probably best if it includes a prebiotic blend that helps the new microbes "feed" and take hold in recolonizing the gut. „Probiotics - Technically, they are not an essential dietary supplement, but the importance of a healthy gut microbiome is becoming clearer each year. The evidence favors taking a probiotic during and after antibiotic treatment to reduce side effects. It is reasonable to start with a simple, time-tested, inexpensive staple: Lactobacillus acidophilus. Increase the strength and number of bacterial strains if needed. Fluoride - Fluoride is not a nutrient. It generally increases the hardness of tooth enamel and the density of spinal bones, but decreases the density of bones in the arms and legs.”Probiotics - Technically not an essential dietary supplement, but the importance of a healthy gut microbiome is becoming more obvious each year.
