„It has an antihistamine effect, so it may ease bronchial asthma attacks and inflammation. Black seed is also worth trying, as it effectively relieves symptoms of atopic dermatitis and hay fever. Black seed contains thymoquinone, a substance with anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, and antifungal effects. It improves lung function and eases the symptoms of bronchial asthma. Studies have shown that people taking black seed oil experienced relief from hay fever, shortness of breath, and atopic skin lesions.”Ma działanie antyhistaminowe, przez co może złagodzić ataki astmy oskrzelowej i stany zapalne. Poprawia wydolność płuc i łagodzi objawy astmy oskrzelowej.

The Budwig diet is intended to provide omega-3s, fiber, antioxidants, and complex carbohydrates; Hubert Czerniak presents it as helpful in fighting allergies.

„Dr. Budwig’s diet can help us fight allergies. It provides the body with foods rich in omega-3 fats, fiber, antioxidants, and complex carbohydrates. The main product used in this diet is unrefined, cold-pressed linseed oil, which is high in linolenic acid.”W zwalczeniu alergii pomoże nam dieta dr Budwing. Dieta ta dostarcza organizmowi pokarmy bogate w tłuszcze omega 3, błonnik, antyoksydanty i węglowodany złożone.

Hubert Czerniak writes that if you return to the diet that caused the allergy, the allergy will quickly return.

„The ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 is therefore optimal. It is worth being patient and persistent. Treating allergies with natural methods may bring the desired results. Allergies can be eliminated permanently, but if we return to the diet that caused them, they will quickly return.”Stosunek omega 3 do omega 6 jest więc optymalny.

Asthma is characterized by chronic inflammation of the airways, which can cause shortness of breath, chest tightness, and wheezing.

„Asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), and many other lung diseases are characterized by chronic inflammation of the airways. This inflammation causes symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest tightness, and wheezing. The respiratory system consists of the trachea and bronchi, lungs and pleura, blood and lymph vessels, and the nerves that supply these structures.”Astma, POCHP – przewlekła obturacyjna choroba płuc – oraz wiele innych chorób płuc charakteryzuje się przewlekłym zapaleniem dróg oddechowych.

A review found that some herbs and omega-3 fatty acids may improve certain asthma-related outcomes, although the clinical benefits were limited.

Aim of the study: Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of the airways, characterized by T-helper (Th) 2 inflammation. Current lifestyle recommendations for asthma patients are to consume a diet high in fruits and vegetables and to maintain a healthy weight.

Results: Fifteen studies reported improvements in either asthma-related outcomes or immunological parameters, and eight of these reported improvements in both areas. Two studies reported worsening in either asthma-related outcomes or immunological parameters, and one of these reported worsening in both areas. Promising interventions used herbs, herbal mixtures or extracts, and omega-3 LCPUFAs, although few interventions produced clinically relevant results. Future studies should focus on further optimizing the beneficial effects of nutritional interventions in asthma patients, for example by considering asthma phenotypes and endotypes.

In obese mice with asthma, a Chinese herbal mixture reduced airway hyperresponsiveness and inflammation.

Aim of the study: To study HTHX effects on airway inflammation in obese asthmatic mice via the IL-17 A signaling pathway.

Results: HTHX alleviated the development of asthma in obese mice by improving lung tissue pathology, airway hyperresponsiveness, and inflammatory factors. Network pharmacology identified the involvement of the IL-17 signaling pathway. HTHX decreased the production of neutrophils and the expression of NETs in lung tissue. HTHX also reduced group 3 innate lymphoid cells and Th17 cells, which are responsible for producing IL-17 A. The production of IL-17 A-related protein was also suppressed. The results indicate that HTHX inhibited excessive activation of the IL-17 A signaling pathway. HTHX alleviated airway inflammation by regulating the IL-17 A signaling pathway in obese asthmatic mice.

In obese mice with asthma, a compound derived from a plant improved airway hyperresponsiveness and reduced lung inflammation.

Aim of the study: Obese asthma is an asthma phenotype that causes more severe lung inflammation and airway hyperresponsiveness than allergic asthma and is resistant to conventional therapy. Involucrasin B (IB) is a dihydroflavonoid isolated from Shuteria involucrata (Wall.) Wight & Arn., a traditional “Dai” and “Wa” medicine used in southern China to treat “phlegm and wetness of sputum” (obesity disease) as well as lung inflammation.

Results: In vivo, we found that treatment with IB improved airway hyperresponsiveness and lung histopathology and significantly inhibited the secretion of relevant inflammatory factors, such as interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-17A, and IL-22 in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, and total IgE and HDM-IgE in serum, compared with the model group (HFD+HDM). The findings indicate that IB could decrease the expression of granulocyte receptor 1 (Gr-1) and neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in lung tissue, as well as the expression of NLR family pyrin domain containing 3 (NLRP3) and inducible nitric oxide synthase in M1 macrophages (M1). IB also reduced the population of ILC3/Th17 cells, which are responsible for producing IL-17A, a crucial mediator of neutrophil-mediated inflammation, confirming that the therapeutic effect of IB in obesity-related asthma was related to neutrophils and M1 cells. In addition, IB regulated lipid metabolism and inhibited the production of macrophages in adipose tissue.

„A deficiency of magnesium and other minerals, which is very common in the modern world, can lead to asthma and many other health problems. In many cases, asthma symptoms can be reduced or prevented with appropriate doses of magnesium supplements. [4-7] Eating a healthier diet also helps. [2,7] Avoid artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. Stop eating cold cuts and other preserved deli meats, including hot dogs. Eat more greens—much more—especially fresh, raw greens. Eat more legumes (unless you have a peanut allergy). Drink more water, which will help flush out antigens.”A deficiency of magnesium and other minerals, very common in the modern world, can lead to asthma and many other health issues. „Integrative orthomolecular medicine presents a holistic, patient-centered approach to nurturing resilience and optimism in the face of chronic autoimmune challenges. Through this integrative orthomolecular approach, we have observed significant improvements in our patients’ quality of life (126,127). In many cases, these methods have even helped reverse symptoms of various autoimmune diseases. This experience reinforces the potential of integrative medicine to offer renewed hope and health to those facing the challenges of autoimmune conditions. References: 1.
