Peptides are said to increase growth hormone secretion, support bone and muscle growth, and slow aging.

„Peptides, or bioactive chains of amino acids, increase the secretion of human growth hormone (HGH). They also support fat metabolism, bone growth, and muscle tissue growth. As was emphasized at the symposium, their remarkable properties can help us slow aging and not only live to an advanced age, but reach it in good health and excellent physical condition.”Peptydy, czyli bioaktywne łańcuchy aminokwasów, zwiększają wydzielanie ludzkiego hormonu wzrostu (HGH).

Studies on laboratory animals indicate that regularly administering peptides can extend lifespan.

„Because protein production is essential for the functioning of organs and the whole body, we need a tool to stimulate cells to work in this area—peptides are that tool. Studies on laboratory animals show that regularly supplying their bodies with peptides leads to a longer lifespan, prevents carcinogenesis, and significantly improves kidney regeneration and the appearance of their fur.”Ponieważ wytwarzanie białka jest niezbędne do funkcjonowania organów i całego organizmu, potrzebujemy narzędzia, które pobudzi komórki do aktywności na tym polu – tym narzędziem są peptydy. Badania na zwierzętach laboratoryjnych dowodzą, iż regularne dostarczanie ich organizmom peptydów powoduje: wydłużenie życia, powstrzymanie kancerogenezy oraz znacząco poprawia regenerację nerek i wygląd sierści.

Natural peptides are said to support the regulation of the body and help maintain health and good physical condition.

„WellU press office Peptides serve an important purpose: restoring disrupted homeostasis. They activate only the metabolic pathways needed at a given time, thanks to their natural characteristics. That is why regular, preventive use of products containing the biologically active, natural peptides in Biopeptide Complex is so beneficial for maintaining health and good physical condition.”prasowe WellU Peptydy służą tak istotnej kwestii jak przywrócenie zaburzonej homeostazy.

Peptides are said to speed up the repair of cells and tissues and increase collagen production.

„They stimulate the activity of heat shock proteins, such as HSP70, thereby greatly speeding up the regeneration and repair of cells and tissues. This can be seen in the treatment of burns, frostbite, and wounds, and during recovery after procedures. As signaling peptides, they act on fibroblasts, increasing their collagen production—a factor that matters for the condition of all organs made of collagen protein: from the tips of the nails, through the skin, hair, gums, and eyeballs, to the bones and cartilage.”Pobudzają aktywność białek szoku termicznego, np.

Andrzej Frydrychowski describes peptides as substances of great importance to lifespan and quality of life.

„Experts say it is possible to live longer while remaining fit and healthy. Alongside a few small changes we should make to our lifestyles, peptides were named as substances of considerable importance to lifespan and quality of life.”Zdaniem specjalistów możliwe jest wydłużenie długości życia przy jednoczesnym zachowaniu dobrej formy i zdrowia. Prócz kilku niewielkich zmian, jakie powinniśmy wprowadzić w naszym trybie życia, jako substancje o niebagatelnym znaczeniu dla długości i jakości życia wymieniono peptydy.

Turtle peptides extended lifespan and improved several health indicators in fruit flies.

Aim of the study: In traditional Chinese medicine, soft-shelled turtle protein and peptides serve as a nutraceutical for prolonging the lifespan. However, their effects on anti-aging have not been clarified scientifically in vivo.

Results: Herein, STP supplementation prolonged the mean lifespan by 20.23% and 9.04% in males and females, respectively, delaying the aging accompanied by climbing ability decline, enhanced gut barrier integrity, and improved anti-oxidation, starvation, and heat stress abilities, while it did not change the daily food intake. Mechanistically, STP enhanced autophagy and decreased oxidative stress by downregulating the target of rapamycin (TOR) signaling pathway. In addition, 95.18% of peptides from the identified sequences in STP could exert potential inhibitory effects on TOR through hydrogen bonds, van der Walls, hydrophobic interactions, and electrostatic interactions. The current study could provide a theoretical basis for the full exploitation of soft-shelled turtle aging prevention.

Peptides from millet bran extended the lifespan of nematodes and increased their antioxidant enzyme activity.

Aim of the study: Millet bran as a by-product of millet grain processing remains a reservoir of active substances. In this study, functional millet bran peptides (MBPE) were obtained from bran proteins after alcalase hydrolysis and ultrafiltration.

Results: elegans, MBPE at 12.5 µg/mL significantly prolonged the lifespan by reducing lipid oxidation, oxidative stress, and lipofuscin levels. Furthermore, MBPE increased the activities of the antioxidant enzymes. Genetic analyses showed that MBPE-mediated longevity was due to a significant increase in the expression of daf-16 and skn-1, which are also involved in xenobiotic and oxidative stress responses. In conclusion, this study found that MBPE had antioxidant and life-prolonging effects, which are important for the development and utilization of millet bran proteins as resources of active ingredients.

In nematodes, egg-derived peptide supplementation extended lifespan and improved several measures of fitness in old age.

Aim of the study: Given the increasing focus on natural interventions for healthy aging, this research evaluates the longevity-promoting potential of egg-derived peptides (EPs) extracted from American shad (Alosa sapidissima). Using Caenorhabditis elegans as the experimental model, researchers found that 0.15 mg/mL EP supplementation extended lifespan by a remarkable 33.33%.

Results: Crucially, EP upregulated genes responsible for unsaturated fatty acid biosynthesis (fat-7 and elo-4) to optimize cell membrane fluidity. Conversely, it downregulated genes linked to fatty acid β-oxidation (acs-2, acox-1.5, ech-9, hacd-1) and endogenous stress responses (sod-3, hsp-16.1, hsf-1). Validated via qRT-PCR, these shifts indicate that EP extends lifespan by fundamentally remodeling lipid metabolism and maintaining redox homeostasis. Ultimately, these findings highlight EP as a highly promising functional food ingredient for promoting healthy aging.
